Hi, Hello Reader, Last week I announced my upcoming event - Momentum, a virtual event for business owners who want more creative fulfillment and financial stability in their business. I feel really aligned with the name. Because I know what it’s like to feel like your happiness is tied to your bank account balance. I have ridden the highs of new clients and new sales, only to hit a financial roadblock that sent me spiraling 🌪️ And this was AFTER I became a money “expert”. One particular roadblock lost me 43% of my clients…🤯 I just shared the full story in an interview for the Permission to Kick Ass podcast, hosted by Angie Colee. I really admire this show because Angie asks business owners to share their worst moments in business. Because we’ve all felt STUCK. 🤚🏼 Yet, the stories on this show demonstrate there is a way forward. There is a way to regain your MOMENTUM. Despite losing half my business overnight (for the full story, you’ll have to wait until the episode drops this June 😉), I never really lost my vision. It was unbelievably hard to navigate the financial losses and rebuild my team. Yet the whole time, I never felt out of control. I had my unstoppable financial foundation - the same one I set up for bookkeeping clients and teaching coaching clients. The one I am sharing at our 3-day event this May. And this eventually gave me clarity on the root cause of this mess. Today, I am serving more clients - and I’m serving them better - because I had a really tough moment and reevaluated how I was scaling. I pivoted, and put better leadership and better systems in place. Because as Angie and I nerded out about during our podcast interview, it’s the toughest moments that ultimately lead to greater success. That's why I named my upcoming event "Momentum."
